Café Mundi Foundation Christmas cards aAnd drawing competition with children from Cauca (Colombia)

Foto-tarjeta-navidad-1This year the Café Mundi Foundation published Christmas cards, illustrated with drawings by the children of Cauca, a coffee-growing region in Colombia. As part of the “Coffee-grower Caucan Womens’ Programme” – developed by the Foundation in Colombia - a children’s drawing competition was held last summer among those families. The competition, where Foundation President Mr. Ricardo Oteros (photo) presented the awards, was very successful. A happy day that we would like to repeat. Likewise, we hope to hold this competition in this and other regions during the coming years for the design of the Foundation’s Christmas cards.

The Foundation’s activities developed in this region through the ‘Coffee-grower Caucan Womens’ Programme’ are helping Caucan women improve their capacity as coffee growers, and their general living conditions, in an area of Colombia badly affected by the current armed-conflict.
